following challenging career opportunity for a suitable candidate in Walvis Bay.

DELIVERY DRIVER WAREHOUSE – WALVIS BAY DEPOT

The position’s key performance areas are:

• Driving the vehicle is the main responsibility.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Receive list & assure goods to be picked up & delivered correctly.
• Complete the collection note when collecting goods.
• Transport & timeous delivery of goods to various customers in Walvis Bay, Swakopmund & the surrounding mines & submitting complete documentation on return.
• Complete daily driving list and MDC logbook.
• The driver is responsible for the cargo that is being transported in that he must ensure that the goods and materials used on the truck are handled in a responsible manner and that he does not act negligently.
• Perform any other duties as may be requested from time to time as might be reasonably expected from a Delivery Driver Warehouse.

The suitable candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A Namibian Citizen and must have a valid Code CE driver’s license.
• A valid PDP (Dangerous Goods) Hazchem Certification will be an added advantage.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a heavy vehicle driver.
• Must have excellent driving, interpersonal & communication skills (English & Afrikaans).
• Must have sober habits.
• Must have excellent time management skills to ensure on time delivery of goods.
• Must have high attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
• Must have a valid Code of Conduct (Police Clearance).
