GENERAL LABOURER WAREHOUSE – WALVIS BAY DEPOT
The position’s key performance areas are:
• Loading and offloading of vehicles is the main responsibility.
• Ensure that the cargo is secured and safety loaded.
• Assist depot driver with deliveries and pickups (when required).
• Operating a forklift as and when required.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and neat.
• Perform any other duties as may be requested from time to time as might be reasonably expected from a General Labourer Warehouse.
The suitable candidate will meet the following requirements:
• Namibian Citizen with a valid forklift license and operator’s card.
• Grade 12 with a minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience as a forklift driver.
• Knowledge of manganese off-loading procedures will be an added advantage.
• Have excellent communication skills – read, write, speak (English and Afrikaans).
• Must have high attention to detail.
• Be able to work in a team as well as independently and under pressure.
• Be hard working with have sober habits.
• Must have a valid code of conduct (Police Clearance) not older than 3 months.
