This position reports to the Depot Manager and is based in Windhoek at Brakwater.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting the Operations Manager with all Administrative duties, including but not limited to petty cash reconciliations, banking. claims investigations and administration, to increase efficiency of the Jet.X Division.
• Communicating with clients regarding Export movements (Export process and Time Frames, payments), delays and other requirements,
• Ensure client payments are received prior to dispatch (Import VAT in ZA).
• Ensure Export process is followed daily to avoid delays with consignment movements.
• Ensure there are no delays with PRN requests, payments etc.
• Daily follow up on Export reports and pro-active measures implemented.
• Assist Operations Manager with the daily follow up of POD`S , Collections, Inbound documents (clearing/customs) any outstanding paperwork, payments and liaise with clients daily on the mentioned .
• Any other duties in line with the responsibilities of a Admin/Export Supervisor.
The suitable applicant will have
• Grade 12 with a minimum of 3 years’ Operational Experience in the Imports/Export sector of which 2 must have been at Supervisory level.
• Must be able to work within a diverse team.
• Must have a high attention to detail.
• Must have strong administrative, organizational and planning skills / ability.
• Must be customer- orientated and proven track record of customer relationship management.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
• Must have a valid Code of Conduct (Police Clearance) nor older than 3 months.
• Namibian Citizenship.
