The position reports to the Manager in RSA – based in Johannesburg.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
• Accurate capturing of consignment details on the system.
• Liaising with the Debriefing Administrator regarding collections.
• Accurate capturing of collections and ensuring domestic consignments are dispatched.
• Vetting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness thereof.
• Liaising with Supervisor/Operations Manager regarding incomplete waybills/documents.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
The suitable applicant will possess:
• A valid grade 12 (with at least 20 points)
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ working experience in the logistical industry (added Advantage)
• Knowledge of clerical duties
• Knowledge of Parcel Perfect program (Added Advantage)
• Computer skills
• Excellent communication, planning and organizing skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a diverse cultural and social environment.
• The ability to make sound decisions and to work long hours under pressure.
• Proficiency in Parcel Perfect, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• South African Citizenship.
• Police Clearance Certificate not older than 3 months.
