The Sunshine Centre is a disability and special needs school in Walvis Bay and the only of its kind in Namibia, currently caring for 126 persons. The aim of the centre is to educate, equip and empower children and youngpersons with disabilities, through social enterprise programs which includes gardening and woodwork.
In support of these initiatives , the Wesbank Transport Division, donates 30 truck tyres, which the centre will use to manufacture furniture, playground equipment and planters for vegetables.
