The position reports to the Business Development Manager at Brakwater.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
• Prompt and effective customer service, as first point of contact.
• Answering and directing calls and queries to the correct department and staff
• Communicate with customers via phone and/or e-mail regarding deliveries, delays,
collections, etc.
• Assist clients with quotations as/when required.
• Follow up on collections (internationally and nationally) and liaise with customers and
Departmental heads
• Assist walk-in customers.
• Compiling a daily Pick Up and Delivery report and submit to CSD Coordinator.
• Communicating with clearing agents regarding outstanding documents.
• Any other duties in line with the responsibilities of a Customer Service Agent.

The suitable applicant will have :

• A valid Grade 12 (with at least 23 points)
• 2-3 years’ experience in the Customer Service Field.
• Knowledge of Border Clearances and Documentation requirements related to Imports and Exports
• A high level of accuracy and a high regard for attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills – including the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Professional and confident attitude.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy with Office, Asycuda World will be an advantage.
• Namibian Citizenship.
• Must have a valid code of conduct (Police Clearance) not older than 3 months – No criminal
record.
