Full Time Job Description…
• Operating the crane is the main responsibility.
• Daily pre-operation inspection of crane.
• Ensure daily that the crane is in a clean condition (crane structure, sheaves and boom head).
• Ensure the crane is level when operating with upperworks.
• Ensure the crane is right equipment for the job.
• Pre-inspect the job and terrain together with the Rigger.
• Conduct a risk assessment and analysis.
• Conduct a route analysis.
• Report all accidents / incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Complete task safely and effectively.
• Ensure that the Rigger completes the rigging exercise correctly.
• Ensure that the crane and operator licenses are valid and have not expired.
• Allowed to stop the job and report to site manager if not satisfied with the safety requirements.
• Perform any other duties as may be requested from time to time as might be reasonably expected from a Crane Operator.
